WHAT IT IS THE PROGRAM?
The Program of Automation and Diversification for Farming
Production includes the set of actions destined to develop
fruit and vegetables production in small and medium sized
farms of Paraguay and supporting their trading management
to meet demands of most markets.
FINANCING
The Program is financed through:

Resources of the N° Loan 1255/Oc-pr, granted according to
agreement I.A.D.B. - Paraguayan Government.

Resources of local counterpart:
- Government funds
- Funds from Private Centrals of Trading Services.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Increase the income level and stability of each member of the
fruit and vegetables production chain.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
-
Promote the consolidation of the CPSCs, to provide trading
services to producers for being more efficient and effective
selling fruit and vetables products in most markets.

Promote the production of fruit and vegetables that meets
requirements of most markets.
GOALS
-
Promote and
strentghten the Private Centrals of Trading Services( CPSC),
who will organize trading issues and bring support to the
farmers integrated to the agro-alimentary chain.

Increase the
cultivation area for innovative fruit and vegetables
production to 950 Hectares.
-
Support for
building 330 hectares of medium shadow drip irrigation for
fruit and vegetables cultivation.
-
Increase the
fruit and vegetable exports.
-
Increase the
market share of Paraguayan fruit and vegetables in domestic
and international markets.
COMPONENTS OF INSTITUTIONAL
SUPPORT
National
Institute of Technology and Normalization - (INTN),
attended to the quality control of agro-industrial products
and processes. Acts in the control of the chemical waste
in products sold by the CPSCs.
National Service of Quality and Vegetal Health and Seeds -
(SENAVE), attended to the standardization and quality control of
the
sanitary products, allows to certify the genetic
identity and fitosanitary conditions of the materials.
Trading Office (DC) and the Office for
Promoting Exportation and investments - (PROParaguay),
atended for commercial development, systems for market
researches , analysis and publisnihg market information, participating
in events, expos,
commercial trips for opening markets and making international contacts.
Main Planning Office- (DGP), attended to control and evaluate the execution of the
program and their impacts.
